Xiaomi has introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi A3, as part of the company’s A series lineup. Serving as the successor to the Redmi A2 released in India in 2023, the Redmi A3 is targeted at users seeking an entry-level or secondary smartphone option.

Redmi A3 Price and Availability

The Redmi A3 is offered in three variants, with prices starting at ₹7,299 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model, ₹8,299 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version, and ₹9,299 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Available color options include Lake Blue, Midnight Black, and Olive Green. Sales of the device commence from February 23, accessible through Flipkart, Xiaomi online store, and authorized retail outlets nationwide.

Redmi A3 Specifications

Running on Android 13 (Go Edition), the Redmi A3 is tailored for entry-level smartphones with limited RAM capacity. This version of Android is optimized to deliver smoother performance on affordable devices.

The smartphone sports a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, the Redmi A3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, available in three RAM and storage configurations: 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Additionally, it offers a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

In terms of camera capabilities, the device features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

With a robust 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging support, the Redmi A3 ensures prolonged usage. It also incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.

Xiaomi’s Redmi A3 presents a compelling option for budget-conscious consumers, combining essential features with an affordable price tag.
