Culver’s Switches from Pepsi to Coke A Look at Soft Drink Preferences in Major US Restaurants

For avid Pepsi enthusiasts, finding a dining establishment that caters to their beverage preference can be quite a task. While numerous major brands like Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut proudly serve Pepsi, Culver’s, the beloved Wisconsin-based fast-food chain renowned for its butterburgers and frozen custard treats, recently made a significant change by transitioning from Pepsi to Coca-Cola products. The Culver’s website now showcases a variety of Coca-Cola beverages, including Diet Coke and Coke, signaling a departure from its previous Pepsi affiliation. However, Dr Pepper, under the ownership of Dr Pepper Snapple Group, continues to hold a place on Culver’s beverage menu.

In response to inquiries about the switch, Culver’s stated, “Culver’s is currently transitioning to Coca-Cola products. This is in progress and will take time as our nearly 900 restaurants located in 26 states make the switch.”

The statement also reassured customers that signature beverages such as “Culver’s Signature Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Dr Pepper, and fresh brewed sweetened and unsweetened tea” remain available.
